Kabaddi Scoring Rules Explained: Raids, Bonus, Super Raid, Super Tackle, All Out

· SpotX Team

Kabaddi scoring looks complicated from the stands, but it comes down to a few rules about raids and tackles. This guide covers the scoring used in most college and district tournaments; always confirm local variations with the organisers.

Raid points

Super raid

A raid that earns the raider 3 or more points (touch plus bonus) is called a super raid. For example, touching two defenders and taking the bonus is a 3-point super raid.

Tackle points and the super tackle

All out

When every player of a team is out, the other team gets 2 extra points for the all out, and the whole team is revived onto the mat.

Do-or-die raid and revivals

Keeping score live

SpotX scores kabaddi raid by raid: it tracks who is on the mat, applies revivals, flags do-or-die raids, and calls out super raids, super tackles and all outs to everyone following live. The raid clock, timeouts, substitutions and cards are all recorded.
